To truly know someone, you need experience with them. But how do you experience an invisible God? Growing up in church, I heard all the right things—“God is a strong tower,” “a deliverer,” “a burden bearer.” But I couldn’t say I knew Him as any of those things. I realized there’s a difference between knowing of God and knowing God.

Does God talk back in prayer? Yes—just not always how we expect. Prayer is more than speaking; it’s listening, watching, and trusting. God may respond through His Word, people, peace, or even silence that strengthens. Stay open. Stay prayerful.
